Fine Art Pineneedle Basketry
Dodie Ulery, a native of Daytona Beach, is an award winning artist specializing in fiber arts, including weaving and basketry. Her work is seen and sold in art galleries and shops throughout Florida. Her baskets are strong, tight and practical, reflecting the more natural primitive style of the Native American Tribes of the Gulf Coast. She teaches workshops throughout Florida and Georgia.
She's an award winning photojournalist. A graduate of the New York Institute of Photography and the Canon Photography Masters Program, her

I facilitate workshops for children and adults several time a year. Photography for Children - is a workshop that always brings surprises.
In just a few hours children learn how to "see and compose" images. The images
below were taken by children between the ages of 8 and 10 after one hour of instruction.

Her first non-fiction book DEFINING MIRACLES was published in 2007, the second PALMISTRY TO GO was published in 2008. Second editions of my books were released in 2011.
She is a 1997 graduate of Institute of Children's Literature. Several pieces of her fiction have appeared in local publications.
