BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION Dodie Ulery, a native of Daytona Beach, is an award winning artist, specializing in fiber arts, including weaving and pine needle basketry as well as paper mosaics and Chinese Calligraphy. Her work is seen and sold in art galleries and shops in Daytona Beach, New Smyrna, Maitland, Ocoee, St. Petersburg, Sarasota, St. Augustine, Tampa, Gainesville, Deland and Jacksonville. She shares her life with her husband, family and pets on five acres, certified as a wildlife habitat by both the National Wildlife Federation and the Institute for Urban Wildlife and a Monarch Butterfly Waystation by the University of Kansas. She is a former Master Gardener and facilitates workshops in all types of wildlife related gardening, including Butterfly Gardening, Growing Lotus in Tubs, Hummingbird Gardening, Gardening with Native Plants, Container Gardening, Victorian Herb Gardening and Habitat Creation and Maintenance, as well as workshops for Photographing Children and Pets, Photographing Flowers and Gardens, Marketing Your Images and Creating Pine Needle Baskets. She’s an award winning photojournalist. Since her ordination in 1983 she has worked to mainstream metaphysical thought.
